We are seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development to play a leading role in shaping The Trade Desk's growth through mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and investments. This role will report directly to head of corporate development and work closely with the senior leadership team to identify, evaluate, and execute inorganic growth opportunities that align with the company's strategic vision.

Who You Are
12+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital. Undergraduate or Graduate degree - MBA preferred. Experience in a leading and negotiating deals and leading deal teams - Proven track record leading M&A transactions, Investments, and strategic partnerships. Team player, pro-active and action oriented, anticipates needs, is assertive, and is highly accountable. Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels and teams across the organization. Deep expertise in valuation, financial modeling, and deal structuring. Strong knowledge of the technology and / or digital media ecosystem; adtech experience a plus. Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence at the C-suite and Board level. Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills and judgment. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. Demonstrated success in prior roles in their career. Strategic thinker.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
