Job Title : Database Engineer

Location : New York, NY (Remote)

Duration : 8 + Months contract (11 / 15 / 2025 to 07 / 31 / 2026)

US citizenship is required

TradingHub Engineer

• Trade Surveillance implementation experience using TradingHub is required
• Deep ETL and data management experience (preferably financial markets)
• Direct capital markets experience (equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives) is essential
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to feed the TradingHub platform
• Ensure regulatory compliance and high data quality
• Work cross-functionally with compliance, technology, and trading teams
• Strong SQL and Python (or C#)

Description :

The services You will provide the client project team : As a Database Engineer Contractor, you will design, develop, and optimize database systems to support data storage, retrieval, and analysis. Design and construct large relational databases to meet project requirements. Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate new systems with existing data warehouse structures. Optimize database performance by refining system functionality and ensuring efficient data retrieval. Implement and enforce database security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality. Perform regular data validation and quality checks to ensure database accuracy and reliability.

Primary Skill Required for the Role : Implementation Support

Level Required for Primary Skill : Intermediate (3-5 years experience)

The TradingHub Trade Surveillance Engineer is a key technical expert responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines that feed high-volume, complex capital markets data into the TradingHub trade surveillance platform. The role requires a deep understanding of ETL processes, financial market data across various asset classes, and regulatory compliance requirements. The engineer will work closely with compliance officers, quantitative analysts, and other technology teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for effective market abuse detection.
