HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE IAF TEAM :
Develops and attains company, department, and personal goals and objectives.Maintains the Nonconformance System for nonconformances found by a customer or in-house. Communicates customer, supplier, and internal non-conformances and pertinent tracking information to facilitate containment, prevention, root cause analysis, and corrective action.Analyzes data to visualize problems or status. Prepares visual aids and matters about Machine Condition Control and Manufacturing Floor Support.Advises the organization on all nonconformities and exceptions, including where improvement is needed. Leads improvement efforts.Tours the plant daily to monitor nonconformance activity, reinforce the quality management system, and assist in continuous improvement effortsLeads quality-related activities with the needs of Sales, PC, Purchasing, and all other groups / departments.Contacts / visits customers and suppliers to understand the voice of the customer, resolve concerns, and assure product / service quality.Leads quality circles, cross-functional teams, and enterprise-wide continuous improvement efforts.Prepares / maintains Inspection Standards, FMEA / control plans, and PPAPs relating to the introduction of new and existing parts.Collects, compiles, and presents quality internal and external metrics databases.Maintains ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 certifications. Improves the quality management system.Supervises Document and Forms Control activities.Maintains the Visual Aid Display Boards for which Quality has.Analyzes quality data and works to support quality improvement in the manufacturing departments.Leads problem solving, PDCA Methodology, and 5-why analysis to determine root cause and countermeasure implementation.Other duties may be assigned.WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE IAF TEAM :
Provide Quality Engineering services to customers, internal businessProvides Quality Engineering services to customers, internal business functions / operations, and suppliers.Maintains TS16949 and compliance with all customer and internal requirements.Develops, documents, and improves business management systems.Facilitates quality relationships with customers, including the response to customer non-conformances, drives customer-focused improvements, and assures product & service quality standards meet requirements.Owns advanced product and quality planning activities to ensure manufacturing consistently delivers conforming product.WHAT IT TAKES TO BE ON THE IAF TEAM :
Minimum of a bachelor's in engineeringA minimum of 3 years in a quality or manufacturing environment with a technical / engineered product. Automotive Industry experience preferred.Ability to read customer / supplier / internal drawings. Familiarity with GD&TLiaise with key stakeholders in the operations system – Planning, Logistics, Sales, Quality, HR, IT, Engineering, Maintenance, Accounting – to deliver quality needs and meet business objectives.Experience coordinating and leading activities involving AIAG Core Tools.hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Testing Methodologies.Ability to inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.Experience with root cause analysis, developing corrective actions and countermeasures, and using data to drive improvements on the manufacturing floorWHERE WE WORK : ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
With a tremendous focus on 4S+ and continuous improvement, our facility is a clean and organized workplace. We do work with chemicals, and part of our process includes heat treat ovens, so it can get hot and dirty at times. Our facility is not temperature-controlled, but we offer lots of opportunities to cool off in the summer heat!
