Certified Medical Assistant

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. Sign-on for eligible new hires. Work location : 2730 SW Wilshire Blvd. Burleson, TX 76028. Work hours : Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday (9am-6pm). Department highlights : positive work environment, strong employee development, excellent benefits.

Here's what you need : high school diploma or equivalent (required), CMA - current medical assistant certification (required), one year of experience as a CMA (preferred), ACLS or BCLS upon hire (preferred).

What you will do : delivers care to patients utilizing the certified medical assistant process; communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician; provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights; may work in the front office as needed; may perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s); perform EKGs and draw blood; administer injections efficiently and comfortably with pediatric patients.
