About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yard Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy marine yard in Miami. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of boat systems and boat trailer maintenance, and a proven ability to manage inventory, and yard logistics. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensuring safe and efficient yard operations while delivering outstanding service to customers. As the Yard Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling of all incoming and outgoing vessels, as well as managing the inventory and maintenance of all vessels, equipment and supplies. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Experience in marine operations.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in marine operations.
• Strong knowledge of boat systems and trailer maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with boat handling equipment, including lifts, trailers, and forklifts
• Proficiency in inventory control and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
