Your day as a Credit Analyst

As a new Credit Analyst at Bill360 Inc., you can expect an engaging and challenging workday from Monday to Friday. Your daily responsibilities will include analyzing credit data and financial statements to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather key information and present insights that drive informed decision-making. Additionally, you will conduct risk assessments, monitor existing clients' credit performance, and prepare detailed reports summarizing your findings. Daily interactions with customers will enhance your understanding of their needs and strengthen our customer-centric approach.

Are you the Credit Analyst we're looking for?

To thrive as a Credit Analyst at Bill360 Inc., candidates should possess a blend of essential skills and qualifications that align with our high-performance culture. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for delivering exceptional service quality while interacting positively with merchants, team members, and sales partners. Successful candidates must manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring comprehensive documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, is required, along with familiarity with VOIP phone systems and general office equipment. A key aspect of this role is exercising discretion and independent judgment when making decisions. Candidates must also handle confidential information appropriately, reflecting our commitment to customer-centricity.

The ideal applicant will have at least one year of experience in credit underwriting or analysis, or three-plus years in customer service within the credit card processing industry. A general understanding of business practices and consumer / business credit reports is also essential.

Knowledge and skills required for the position :

  • 1. Serve as a Credit Underwriter / Credit Analyst prioritizing service quality and operational efficiency.
  • 2. Obtain and analyze credit reports business histories and payment records from various sources.
  • 3. Collaborate with the Underwriting team to resolve any underwriting issues.
  • 4. Review submissions and funding requests and gather additional information from Sales Representatives or business owners as needed.
  • 5. Assist in coordinating account conversions with credit card processors.
  • 6. Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Essential Skills :
  • 1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2. Positive customer-focused interaction with merchants personnel and sales partners.
  • 3. Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure documentation completeness.
  • 4. Proficiency in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5. Familiarity with MS Office applications VOIP phone systems and general office equipment.
  • 6. Capacity to exercise discretion and independent judgment in decision-making.
  • 7. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Qualifications :
  • 1. At least 1-3 years of experience in credit underwriting or analysis or 3+ years in a customer service or agent service role within the credit card processing industry.
  • 2. AS or AA degree or higher preferred.
  • 3. General understanding of business practices and consumer / business credit reports.
  • 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Excel.
