Through initiatives such as clinical mental and behavioral health services, YYW provides evidence-based therapies including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-Solving Therapy. These services support individuals, couples, and groups dealing with issues like trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. In addition, YYW trains community health workers and peer support specialists to advance health equity under the CalAIM initiative. Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Psychotherapist. As a Psychotherapist at YYW, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and groups. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and offering counseling for mental health and relationship issues. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain accurate client records, and support clients in navigating personal challenges to achieve improved well-being and mental health.

Qualifications

• Background in Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• Experience in providing Mental Health and Relationship Counseling
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and principles in Medicine and therapeutic interventions
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create a supportive therapeutic environment
• Master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist
• Experience with diverse client populations is a plus
