Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Defense Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will support a positive experience for everyone on site. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $29.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday to Friday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
  • Document incidents and observations accurately, submitting reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during security-related events or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential risks at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
  • CPR and / or First Aid Certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
  • Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
