Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Float RN, you will :

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process across multiple inpatient units

Demonstrate flexibility by floating where needed and collaborating with interprofessional teams

Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments

Document care accurately and in a timely manner

Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families

Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being

Advocate for the physical and emotional health of patients

Participate in performance improvement initiatives and required education

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have :

Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience : 1-2 years of bedside RN experience required; 2-4 years of critical care experience preferred

License : Current RN license in the state of practice

Skills : Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in stressful environments

Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)
