We are seeking a litigation attorney on behalf of a well-established boutique law firm in northern New Jersey. The firm is led by a friendly, down-to-earth managing partner who values mentorship, professional respect, and balanced growth.

This position is ideal for a motivated litigator who enjoys substantive courtroom work, autonomy, and direct partner collaboration—without the pressure of generating new business.

What you’ll do

  • Manage a mix of plaintiff personal injury and general commercial litigation matters
  • Handle all stages of litigation, including legal research, discovery, depositions, pleadings, briefs, motion practice, and trial preparation and argument
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and maintain client contact from day one

What you bring

  • NJ Bar admission required; NY admission a plus but not required
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Prior judicial clerkship experience a plus
  • Proven ability to take ownership of cases and move them forward

  • Total compensation potential from approximately $150,000 to $400,000+ based on performance
