Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting located in Lake Stevens, WA. This role is designed to cover a leave of absence on a contract basis, perfect for professionals seeking temporary employment in an educational environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience :

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and delivering remote services
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in diverse school-aged children

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Utilize teletherapy methods when appropriate to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Support communication between school staff, families, and related service providers
