Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 6-week locum tenens assignment in California starting Oct 9, 2025. This opportunity features a sole provider role with a varied weekday schedule, including early morning and evening shifts, and requires proficiency in extractions, dentures, and general dental care.

  • Schedule : Mon-Tues 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm, Thur 9am-6pm, Fri 7am-1pm; Specific assignment dates include Oct 9-10, 16-17, 20-21

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole dental provider, delivering comprehensive general dentistry services
  • Perform dental extractions and fabricate / fit dentures
  • Diagnose, develop, and implement treatment plans for a range of dental needs
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinical protocols
  • Ensure a safe, hygienic, and patient-centered care environment

    • Additional Information

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in general dentistry required
  • Active California dental license
  • Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Strong clinical skills, particularly in extractions and dentures
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
