American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Waterloo, Iowa.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of recent CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification, and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital CT unit utilizing Siemens equipment
  • Average daily volume of 60-70 CT exams
  • Epic EMR is used and experience is required
  • Holiday coverage includes working 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
  • Requests off are limited to 1 day between 11 / 26 / 25-11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23 / 25-1 / 2 / 26 for all travelers
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals)
  • Responsibilities include performing a high volume of CT exams using Siemens equipment
  • Travelers are required to adhere to holiday and time-off rules specific to the winter holiday season
  • Candidates must meet the radius requirement to be eligible
  • Returning employees may not be eligible if employed within the past 12 months

    • Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of current CT experience is required
  • ARRT (CT) certification is mandatory
  • Active BLS certification is required
  • Active Iowa state license is required if applicable
  • Experience with Epic EMR is required
  • Experience with Siemens CT equipment is encouraged
  • Applicants must provide a supervisory reference from within the last 2 years
  • First-time travelers will be considered
