Responsibilities
What You'll Do as a Supervisor
As a Supervisor at Lewis Services, you'll play a critical role in developing General Forepersons (GFs), ensuring safe operations, supporting customer relationships, and maintaining high-quality work across your assigned area.
You will :
Oversee the day-to-day operational performance of General Forepersons and their crewsConduct weekly crew visits to coach GFs in safety leadership, project management, and job performanceImplement and maintain the Corporate Safety Program across all assigned workgroupsSupport and participate in accident investigations, claims resolution, and safety follow-upEnsure all arboricultural work meets Lewis quality standards through QA / QC reviewsSupport equipment management by ensuring proper use, repairs, and preventative maintenanceBuild and maintain strong customer relationships focused on satisfaction, retention, and responsivenessEnsure compliance with customer contract specifications and requirementsMaintain regular communication with the Division Manager on operational updates and customer mattersAssist with reviewing or preparing estimates for fixed-price lump-sum bid workFoster relationships with potential customers as directed by leadershipAttend internal and external training to deepen operational expertiseAnalyze job-costing reports to identify trends, cost control opportunities, and operational improvementsModel Leadership in Action (LIA) principles and hold GFs accountable to themPromote the professional development, mentorship, and success of each GF reporting to youPerform other duties as assigned by the Division Manager or Regional Vice PresidentQualifications
What You Bring
High school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of experience as a General Foreperson or equivalentProven leadership and coaching experienceValid driver's licenseExcellent communication skillsISA certification required within one year (if applicable)Ability to assist with preparing fixed-price estimatesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong servant leadership and problem-solving skillsHigh integrity and strong safety-first attitudePreferred : Spanish bilingual, arboricultural experience, QA / QC experiencePhysical Demands
Ability to :
