Licensed Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and handling, with the ability to provide exceptional support in a veterinary setting. • Duties

As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the health and well-being of animals under our care. Your duties will include :

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures
• Performing laboratory tests and analyzing results
• Administering medications and vaccinations as directed
• Monitoring animal vital signs and providing critical care when necessary
• Handling and restraining animals safely during procedures
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
• Educating pet owners on proper animal care and post-operative instructions
• Utilizing aseptic techniques to ensure cleanliness in all procedures
• Performing dental cleanings and understanding dental terminology

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in veterinary settings, with specific skills including :

• Veterinary technician experience with knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Experience in animal husbandry, including dog handling
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment, including X-ray technology
• Understanding of animal physiology, anatomy, and catheterization techniques
