Job Title : Senior Mechanical Engineer Location : Coraopolis, PA Type : Direct Hire Compensation : $85000-120000 annually Contractor Work Model : On-site Senior Mechanical Engineer Objective Provide technical engineering expertise and lead project execution. Develop solutions that meet industry standards and client specifications while supporting proposal development. Responsibilities Develop and review complete project documentation for industrial thermal processing systems Stay current with industrial equipment standards and high-temperature processing regulations Analyze complex thermal processing projects to identify design requirements, uncertainties, and constraints Apply energy efficiency and sustainability concepts to industrial heating system development Execute schedule analysis and project risk assessment for thermal equipment installations Support proposal development for turnkey industrial thermal processing projects Act in responsible charge of industrial equipment design projects Lead moderately complex thermal system design tasks and project scopes Create specifications and documentation for industrial heating and drying equipment Provide mentorship to engineering staff on high-temperature equipment design Conduct project meetings for industrial thermal system implementations Interpret technical specifications for material processing conditions and atmosphere requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 10+ years of engineering experience Ability to independently apply extensive engineering knowledge across broad assignment areas Experience leading projects of moderate complexity Capability to modify established engineering theories and practices Knowledge of sustainability principles in engineering applications Experience with project risk assessment and schedule analysis Proposal development experience preferred #M-1 Ref : #282-Eng Pgh
