About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for a 12-week locum tenens assignment in Maryland. This position starts on Oct 20, 2025, and offers a flexible schedule of 15-20 hours per week, with shifts typically between 10 am and 4 or 5 pm. The Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner will provide therapy, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations, including initial intakes, in a supportive environment. Candidates must have at least two years of experience and be comfortable administering IVs.

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and initial intakes

Provide therapy and ongoing patient support

Manage psychiatric medication for patients

Administer IVs as needed

Coordinate care and develop individualized treatment plans

Additional Information

Must hold a valid Maryland nurse practitioner license

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required

Comfort with IV administration is essential

Experience with various EMR systems preferred
