Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS required

Description :

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients during surgical procedures.

The nurse will be involved in various types of surgical interventions, including but not limited to abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, cholecystectomies, and more.

Call is required during nights and weekends.

Candidates must have experience with patient ratios typically at 1 : 1 during the day.

Prior experience in charge roles is preferred but not mandatory.

Demonstrated proficiency with the Epic charting system is required.

A variety of patient age groups will be cared for, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The focus will be on delivering high-quality care and ensuring the safety of patients throughout the perioperative process.

The operating room consists of 4 surgical suites and supports interdisciplinary collaboration.

The nurse may be required to float to similar units based on facility needs.
