Job Description
Reporting to the Sr. Club Director & Regional Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager will play a critical role in supporting clubs and regions across the business by enhancing the effectiveness and performance of Membership Advisors. This role is primarily responsible for coaching and managing sales and new membership performance of Equinox Membership Advisors in their assigned clubs.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage a team of Membership Advisors
- Manage and oversee the sales performance of a team of Membership Sales Advisors across multiple Equinox clubs
- Work in assigned clubs and maintain a daily rotation across assigned clubs and with Membership Sales Advisors teams
- Monitor daily activities and productivity, engage with assigned Membership Sales Advisors to address gaps
- Hold Membership Sales Advisors accountable for performing to daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Create a culture of “close out” every day – bring a sense of urgency to target achievement, motivate performance, celebrate success
Coach and develop sales talent
Collaborate with General Managers and corporate on hiring, onboarding, and performance managementCollaborate with L&D on Membership Sales Advisors skill developmentAction performance plans for low performersEliminate Membership Sales Advisors time sinks and adjudicate issuesPay Range : $75,000-85,000 annually; additional bonus opportunities

To perform this job successfully, an individual should meet the following minimum requirements.
BA / MS Degree preferredProven record of experience in a sales management capacity with strong understanding of Equinox’s internal sales systems (Engage, MoSo, etc.) and processesUnderstanding of how to execute the Membership Sales Advisor role at a high level (consistent productivity)Understanding of activities driving new member acquisition (frequency, type, quality, sequence)Ability to coach and direct Membership Sales Advisors to execute activities correlated with new member activitiesAbility to differentiate coaching and management style for new, emerging Membership Sales Advisors and established highly productive Membership Sales AdvisorsMetrics oriented, ability to analyze team performance, observed gaps, understand root causes, and action interventionsAbility to utilize new techniques, ideas and problem solveHigh energy, motivational leaderAbility to travel within assigned Market Area / RegionPossess honesty and personal integrityEnthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendlyPassionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industryAmbitious and driven with a willingness to be a team player in a high-paced sales environmentAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysComputer literateExcellent time management, organizational and follow-up skillsAdditional Information
