CHKD Health System operates Virginia’s only freestanding, full-service children’s hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia, and its pediatric practices, multi-service health centers, and urgent cares throughout southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. Close to 4,500 clinical and non-clinical employees make up Team CHKD, all working together to provide health, healing, and hope for 425,000 local children.

As members of CHKD Health System, CHKD Medical Group (CMG) pediatricians work closely with the full range of  pediatric specialists  and  surgeons found at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. We are proud to employ more than 120 CHKD board-certified pediatricians and nurse practitioners in 19   primary care practices ! Together, we share a commitment to quality, excellence, and child-centered care.
