Purchasing Assistant (Part-Time, Contract)

  • ? Location : Manchester, MI (On-site)
  • ? Contract Length : 6 months (potential for extension)
  • ? Start Date : ASAP
  • ? Schedule : Part-time – 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 10 : 00am–2 : 00pm
  • ? Pay Rate : $24 / hour

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement team with the timely and accurate creation and amendment of purchase orders (POs) in SAP .

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and amend purchase orders in SAP following company guidelines and department input.
  • Ensure accuracy of PO details, confirming alignment with supplier quotes and terms.
  • Maintain clear documentation and centralized records for all POs created.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.

    • Required Skills & Experience

  • Prior hands-on experience using SAP
  • Experience with PO creation / modification preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
