Python Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python / FastAPI Engineer to go onsite in  Chicago or Denver,  to design, develop, and deploy high‑volume, distributed applications within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in backend engineering, event‑based architectures, API development, and relational database design.

You will contribute to story refinement, lead development of new features, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to story refinement and the definition of technical requirements.
• Perform spikes / proof of concepts to mitigate risk or evaluate new ideas.
• Develop code and unit tests to deliver user stories aligned with acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
• Utilize multiple architectural components (data, application, business) in design and development.
• Assist the team in resolving complex technical challenges.
• Design, develop, and modify architectural components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while maintaining overall architecture integrity.
• Build and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
