We are looking for an Experienced Line Cook who is dependable, adaptable, and passionate about delivering quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare food to the exact specifications of the chef and restaurant standards.
- Cook, plate, and garnish menu items with consistency, precision, and care.
- Follow established portion control, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines.
- Set up, stock, and maintain stations before, during, and after service.
- Assist with food prep, cleaning, restocking, and closing duties.
- Uphold sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and service staff.
- Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and teamwork in all interactions.
- Support the restaurant’s culture of hospitality and integrity
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as requested.
Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years’ experience cooking on the line in a full-service restaurant.Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to schedule needs.Must be at least 18 years of age.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Current or ability to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of hire.Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Work is performed in a commercial kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, steam, and open flame.Regularly required to stand for long periods of time (up to 8–10 hours per shift).Frequent use of hands and arms to chop, mix, lift, handle equipment, and plate dishes.Must be able to safely operate knives, slicers, fryers, ovens, mixers, and other commercial kitchen equipment.Regularly required to walk, bend, stoop, reach, and handle cleaning supplies and equipment.Frequently required to go up and down a full flight of stairs while carrying product, equipment, or trash.Regularly lift and move up to 45 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.May be required to work in hot or cold conditions (walk-in cooler, freezer, near cooking equipment) for extended periods of time.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Noise levels can be moderate to high during peak service hours.Must wear required protective gear, including slip-resistant footwear and other safety equipment as needed.The statements in this job description are intended to describe the essential nature and level of work being performed.
