Sterile Processing Tech

Days 5x8hr : Monday - Friday with 1 rotating weekend (Sat&Sun) per month, possibly twice depending on staffing needs

Daily Caseload per tech : 65 Surgical Cases; 1200 Tray Volume

Weekend REQ : Yes

Will this traveler need to float between like units? No

Start Date : ASAP

Is on-call required? Yes twice per month; rotating weekends

Open to accommodating block schedule? No; case-by-case possibly considered during contract but depends on core staff.

Guaranteed Hours : 40h contract

Years of Experience Required : 2 yr experience required

Certs Required : CBSPD or IAHCSMM

Locals Accepted : No

Additional Information :

Inpatient, outpatient, and trauma setting experience required.

Sterilization, decontamination, assembly / wrap, case cart, HLD, and scrub experience required.

Candidate should have experience in surgery cases such as Ortho, Urology, Endo / Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Gyn, Bariatrics, Plastics, Podiarty, ENT, Transplant, Robotics, and Implants. Opthalmology preferred.
