• Experience with outpatient, inpatient, ED / ICU / MedSurg, and operating room patient types
• Fluoroscopy experience preferred

Description :

This position is for a full-time X-ray technologist.

The technologist will provide coverage during weekdays or weekends.

The role will support operating room, fluoroscopy, and float coverage.

Most shifts will be from 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM.

There is an expectation for coverage during PTO and shortages.

Coverage may include some evenings or weekends.

The facility has 3 imaging rooms, including 2 general X-ray rooms and 1 for fluoroscopy / pain clinic.

Daily, the technologist will perform an average of 25-30 scans.

Patient demographics include primarily adult and geriatric populations, with some pediatrics.

Fluoroscopy procedures, C-arm use in the operating room, and care in various settings such as ICU, MedSurg, and ER are integral to the role.

Technology used includes an EMR system and PACS.

Imaging equipment features include Siemens and Phillips systems for general radiology and pain management procedures.

The department supports a collaborative environment with lead techs and onsite radiologists.

Weekend rotations will vary based on departmental needs.

Holidays will be handled in rotation with other technologists.

The schedule will provide variable shift times based on the needs of the department.
