Base pay range

$110,000.00 / yr - $165,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design tasks for transportation engineering and planning studies
• Prepare conceptual designs that are accurate, feasible, and visually engaging
• Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for transportation engineering projects, including complete streets, bikeways, traffic signal, signing / striping, and lighting projects
• Develop scopes of work and fees for multi-disciplinary traffic engineering design projects
• Manage direct client interaction and communication with members of the public through community engagement
• Market and bring in new projects by nurturing client relationships, preparing proposals, and presenting in interviews
• Perform field work, such as site review preceding design, and support during construction
• Mentor and train colleagues and receive mentorship from senior staff
