Inventory Coordinator

This position is responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, coordinating equipment movement, and partnering closely with logistics, purchasing, and sales teams to keep operations running seamlessly. Essential Job Duties:
- Accurately track, receive, and document all incoming and outgoing medical imaging equipment to maintain precise inventory records.
- Coordinate equipment movement, storage, and organization to ensure assets are staged, accessible, and ready for testing or shipment.
- Partner with logistics, purchasing, engineering, and sales teams to support smooth operational workflows and timely customer deliveries.
- Inspect equipment for condition, completeness, and compliance with internal quality standards before updating inventory systems.
- Proactively identify inventory discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to strengthen accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment while adhering to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.
- Other duties as assigned.
Role Competencies:
- Ensures precise documentation, accurate equipment tracking, and careful verification of inventory data across all systems.
- Maintains a structured, efficient, and well-managed warehouse environment that supports smooth operational flow.
- Demonstrates comfort working with medical imaging equipment, inventory software, and basic troubleshooting processes.
- Works effectively with logistics, engineering, purchasing, and sales teams to share information and keep operations aligned.
- Identifies discrepancies or workflow issues early and takes initiative to resolve them through analytical thinking and sound judgment.
- Upholds company standards, follows safety and quality procedures, and takes responsibility for delivering reliable, consistent results.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Education (or equivalent experience)
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree preferred (fields such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related areas).
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 25-75 pounds regularly; heavier lifting may be required with assistance.
- Manual dexterity for handling tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Visual and auditory ability to operate machinery.
- Potential exposure to machinery, noise, and hazardous materials. Ability to safely operate and enter/exit vehicles, drive for extended periods and work in varied environmental conditions with potential exposure to machinery, noise, and hazardous materials.
