GI Hospitalist opening in Syracuse, NY - Visa EligibleFull-time; PermanentSeeking BC/BEH1 Visa Assistance Overview: Serve as a GI Hospitalist providing inpatient consults and performing procedures. Collaborate within a robust health system that is part of Trinity Health, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care systems in the nation. 7 on/7 off schedule model. Administration is strongly supportive of GI department growth and vision. Large network of primary care and specialty physicians. Call is currently one weekend per month, with affiliated groups providing evening and weekend coverage. Hospital inpatient volume averages 15-20 patients with 3-7 new consults daily. Resident teaching and clinical research opportunities available.The practice is looking to foster and grow expertise in the following areas: Advanced endoscopy including EUS with therapeutics, advanced ERCP skills, EMR/ESD, and enteroscopy. Inflammatory bowel disease management. Hepatology (non-transplant). Esophageal and rectal manometry. Position Offers: Salary Range: $600,000-$650,000 Starting bonus. Posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and excludes productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift incentives, and other applicable cash compensation. CME time and $4,500 annual expense allowance. Competitive income guarantee with productivity incentive to begin. Insurance benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching program.
