Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Pinnacle Health &  Rehab North Berwick is looking for a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing .

The ADON works alongside the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care by providing oversight and leadership to the nursing department. We're offering a sign-on bonus of $5,000 for this full-time position.

Responsibilities Include

• Coordinating and overseeing resident care
• Teaching and coaching staff to enhance nursing skills and practices
• Responsible for the oversight of all residents' status including temporary and significant changes in condition
• Supervises the execution of skilled nursing procedures (medication pass, treatments, etc.)
• Participates in care conferences and assists the team developing an individualized plan of care
• Ensure that all employees are treated with respect and are valued as important members of the team.
• Must be a compassionate healthcare professional who is driven to assist others in achieving their individual potential as caregivers.

Essential Functions

Weekend on-call rotation with nurse managers.
