At Powers, we specialize in helping our customers with HVAC projects or problems by providing the right equipment for the right application, setting it up to maximize comfort and efficiency, ensuring proper operation, and servicing major HVAC equipment and controls. Responsibilities
- Reporting / Data Management : Ensure all data within the operations management software is clean and accurate. Manually edit and clean up data as necessary. Implement and maintain data quality standards and procedures. Regularly audit data to identify and correct discrepancies. Understand and utilize database structures, Excel, and data analysis. Build reports for Management.
- Technical Support : Provide first-line support for staff on software-related issues. Assist users with software navigation and problem resolution. Document and escalate issues to the software company's support. Maintain accurate records and logs of support requests and resolutions.
- User Assistance : Conduct training sessions for new users and ongoing training for existing users. Develop and distribute user guides, documentation, and video instructions. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience :Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in creating business reports using Excel and other softwareSkills :Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft SuiteStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong data analysis and reporting skillsData entryPowers requires pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
