Responsibilities Work in an Emergency Department within a Level 1 Trauma Center setting 13-week assignment with 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am Must work every other weekend (2 weekends per month) Mandatory float policy across various units and facilities within a 50-mile range as needed Uses Cerner EMR for charting No block scheduling or special scheduling requests allowed Must be willing and able to float to different units or facilities as directed, possibly outside primary area of competency using a team-based model Maximum of 5 days requested time off with no more than 2 consecutive days; no time off permitted on weekends, holidays, or the days immediately before or after a holiday Lab work for compliance must be completed within 72 hours of accepting assignment Navy blue scrubs are required and are not provided Parking available for $2 / day with a shuttle service to the hospital Requirements Active IL RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in an Emergency Department Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required (boosters not needed) Locals considered and preferred if residing within a 75-mile radius Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625992.
