We are seeking a Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Michigan .

Position Type : Locum Tenens

Location : Detroit, MI

Rate : 185 / hr. on 1099

Shift : Days, Monday–Friday 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM

Start Date : As soon as credentialed

End Date : 3 months (option to extend)

Position Details :

Patient Population : Pediatric to geriatric patients (excluding neonates)

Setting : Hospital OR coverage, may float to surgery centers if needed

Responsibilities :

Provide anesthesia under supervision model

Cover general surgical cases and pain management

Support surgical cases including general surgery, IV sedation for plastic, robotic surgery, ENT, orthopedic, and podiatry

Work with OR team including surgeon, RN, scrub tech, supervising MDA, first assist / resident as needed

Required Procedures : General surgical anesthesia for adults and pediatrics

EMR System : Cerner

Support Staff : OR staff including surgeon, RN, scrub tech, supervising MDA, and occasionally first assist / resident

Days Per Month : Standard weekday schedule (M–F, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM)

On-Call / Weekends : N / A

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified CRNA – REQUIRED

Active Michigan License – REQUIRED

Clean Background – REQUIRED

ACLS & BLS through AHA – REQUIRED

DEA & CSR – REQUIRED

Local providers preferred; travel providers considered if within rate cap

Willingness to do pediatric cases – REQUIRED
