A Series A HealthTech company is transforming how clinicians use healthcare data by delivering the right information at the speed of thought. Their Clinical Data Intelligence Platform, backed by a mission-driven team and strong investors, empowers providers to improve workflows and patient outcomes.

Who We're Looking For

We’re hiring a Senior Data / AI / ML Engineer with extensive experience building and scaling data-intensive systems that leverage AI and machine learning. You’ll design, implement, and optimize core components of a platform powering real-world healthcare workflows.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Python, deeply experienced in data wrangling and ML, and thrives on solving complex, open-ended problems while shipping production-ready intelligent solutions.

Who You'll Work With

  • A small but high-impact team of engineers across data, AI / ML, backend, and frontend.
  • Clinicians and hospital subject matter experts to ensure products meet real-world needs.
  • Hybrid setup : Bay Area team meets weekly in San Francisco

What You'll Do

  • Build and improve clinical data extractors, summarizers, and ML-driven applications used daily by clinicians.
  • Collect, transform, query, and analyze structured + unstructured healthcare data to generate insights and expand the clinical knowledge graph.
  • Develop and optimize data / AI / ML systems and automations.
  • Write and deploy secure, production-grade code aligned with HIPAA & SOC 2.
  • Participate in rotating on-call to keep systems running smoothly.

    • What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in AI / ML software engineering .
  • Fluent in Python ; skilled with SQL, Jupyter / Streamlit, Bash, Linux, Git.
  • Bonus : Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, dbt, BigQuery, LLM prompt engineering, PyTorch, Pandas, React, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong data wrangling, exploration, and analysis skills.
  • Proven ability to design efficient algorithms, APIs, and scalable data systems.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data and medical domains is a plus.
