Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Edmonds, WA 98026 (Seattle metro area) Healthcare Setting : Labor & Delivery Unit Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date : October 6, 2025 End Date : January 26, 2026 Assignment Length : 16 weeks Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Total Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1910-$2050 Registered Nurse Qualifications Current and active WA RN license or Compact RN license Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Postpartum, and Newborn care Required certifications : BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Proficient with Epic EMR charting system Skilled in circulating for C-sections, fetal heart monitoring (FHM), and IV starts Ability to float to related units as needed Excellent communication and teamwork skills Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn units Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including circulating in the operating room (OR) Administer blood products, insulin, magnesium sulfate, and manage epidural and PCA pumps Perform and maintain peripheral IVs, sterile vaginal exams, and pain management assessments Utilize specialized equipment such as IUPC, central lines, and high-risk antepartum monitors Educate and support patients and families throughout the hospital stay Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Washington State and experience the best of Edmonds, from scenic waterfront parks to local cafes and a welcoming community.
