Engineer II, Sustainability

The Engineer II, Sustainability will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Global Sustainability team related to GHG emissions from marine and offshore vessels / assets as well as activities associated with other sustainability-related projects. These include but are not limited to benchmarking, statistical analysis, and sustainability reporting.

What You Will Do :

• Maintain a solid understanding of emerging regulatory framework related to GHG emissions and waste streams
• Support the department's different projects, services, and other activities.
• Interact with clients to perform services offered by the Global Sustainability team and identify / resolve problems with technical expertise.
• Establish and manage client projects.
• May update and inform the Global Sustainability team on regulatory changes and their impact on ABS business.
• May conduct seminars and workshops related to the environmental performance of marine vessels and offshore units.
• Support the associated service delivery across all geographic locations of Sustainability (Houston, Athens, Copenhagen, Singapore).
• May contribute to authoring ABS publications and thought leadership documents.
• Maintain awareness of the overall ABS service portfolio and promote services / products when appropriate
• May attend industry events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
• Communicates the status of the current workload to all appropriate members of the team to ensure the needs of the clients will be met
• May identify opportunities for marketing campaigns within the area of responsibility that will lead to increased sales
• Submit reports as needed and ensure data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM
• Works as a team member within the group, but may work autonomously most of the time
