As a Body Shop Technician, you’ll repair damaged body parts and vehicle bodies according to factory and dealership specifications. You will :
Repair vehicles per estimate and manufacturer standardsCheck parts against estimates and ensure proper parts are ordered and receivedPrepare vehicles for body repair workNotify management of additional repairs needed or any issues that may affect quality or timingMaintain tools and equipment in proper working conditionWear and maintain all required safety and protective equipment, including respiratorsComply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials, reporting deviations to managementCooperate and assist other personnel in repair and prep workOperate all tools and equipment safelyAdhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environmentWhat We’re Looking For
4+ years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong knowledge of body repair procedures, materials, and manufacturer standardsAbility to maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environmentLicenses & Certifications :
Valid Driver’s License (must meet company insurability standards)Aluminum Repair; Replacement and WeldingElectronics for Collision RepairGlass Replacement; Plastic RepairSteering and Suspension; Understanding Collision RepairWorkplace Hazardous Materials; Manufacturer TrainingPhysical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlRegularly lift / move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift / move more than 100 poundsWhy Join Hunter Truck?
