  • What You’ll Do

    As a Body Shop Technician, you’ll repair damaged body parts and vehicle bodies according to factory and dealership specifications. You will :

  • Repair vehicles per estimate and manufacturer standards
  • Check parts against estimates and ensure proper parts are ordered and received
  • Prepare vehicles for body repair work
  • Notify management of additional repairs needed or any issues that may affect quality or timing
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
  • Wear and maintain all required safety and protective equipment, including respirators
  • Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials, reporting deviations to management
  • Cooperate and assist other personnel in repair and prep work
  • Operate all tools and equipment safely
  • Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
  • What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of body repair procedures, materials, and manufacturer standards
  • Ability to maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment
  • Licenses & Certifications :

  • Valid Driver’s License (must meet company insurability standards)
  • Aluminum Repair; Replacement and Welding
  • Electronics for Collision Repair
  • Glass Replacement; Plastic Repair
  • Steering and Suspension; Understanding Collision Repair
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials; Manufacturer Training
  • Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Regularly lift / move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift / move more than 100 pounds
