  • Solo dispatch only with students, no team freight
  • Earn CFI apparel for your participation
  • 2-day finisher class must be successfully completed
  • Driver is paid $180 per day for attending
  • Refresher training classes every three years
  • Bonus program $500 upon completion of your ninth qualifying student upgrade. Qualifying upgrade means you trained a student in its entirety (
  • No bonus program for Slip / TT / Dedicated)
  • Priority status on the planning board when you have a student onboard

    • Trainer Qualifications :

  • 21 years of age or older, with a Class A commercial driver’s license
  • Have the right to work and live in the United States
  • Experienced driver with 6 months of experience : 1 month with CFI
  • Previous Student Trainee : 6 months with CFI
  • No preventable accidents within last 6 months
  • No DOT preventable accidents within last 12 months
  • No moving violations within previous 6 months
  • No unsafe CSA violations within previous 6 months
