Summary

The Global Logistics Director will lead UWI's worldwide logistics operations, driving strategy across transportation, packaging, compliance, technology, and partner management. This role ensures our global supply chain delivers best-in-class efficiency, cost, compliance, and service across all channels, including dealer, distributor, and direct-to-consumer sales.

This leader will oversee global carrier negotiations, compliance programs, 3PL partnerships, and logistics systems while building and developing a world-class team. Success in this role requires strategic vision, operational rigor, and the ability to collaborate across a global, matrixed organization.

Competencies

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret logistics contracts, international trade regulations, and compliance requirements. Must be able to prepare reports, business cases, and present findings clearly to executives and partners.

Mathematical Skills

Proficiency in financial modeling, cost analysis, rate structures, and logistics capacity planning. Able to create and interpret Excel models to drive business insights.

Reasoning Ability

Strong ability to assess complex logistics challenges, develop solutions, and balance cost, compliance, and service trade-offs. Skilled in evaluating risks and designing contingency plans.

Computer Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Experience with ERP, TMS, and WMS platforms. Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Travel Requirements

Approximately 20% international and domestic travel, with flexibility based on business needs.
