Position Overview :

The Construction Project Engineer will support project managers and superintendents in the day-to-day administration and coordination of industrial and commercial interior buildouts. This is an excellent role for someone looking to build a strong foundation in project management, field coordination, and client-facing communication within a fast-moving GC environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
• Maintain Procore and other project management platforms with current drawings, logs, and correspondence.
• Support bid leveling and subcontractor scope reviews during early project phases.
• Coordinate material deliveries and track lead times with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Perform on-site walks with superintendents and project managers to track progress and identify issues.
• Assist with punch lists, closeout documentation, and turnover packages.
• Help prepare look-ahead schedules and track critical path items.
• Support client, architect, and engineer coordination through meeting prep and follow-up.

This is an on-site, field-based position. Candidates must already reside in the South Florida area and be able to reliably commute to job sites; relocation assistance is not available.
