Key Responsibilities :
- Provide exceptional customer service to help both internal and external customers feel valued and appreciated.
- Maintain professionalism, positivity, and effective communication with customers and on social media.
- Administer immunizations in accordance with Kroger standing orders.
- Conduct clinical services effectively to manage the relevant caseload.
- Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions while adhering to legal regulations and ethical standards.
- Compound medications using established formulas and techniques.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine required ingredients.
- Verify new medications and check for any drug interactions prior to prescription fulfillment.
- Oversee the accuracy of work completed by Pharmacy Technicians and Interns.
- Assist in special promotions alongside the Pharmacy Manager.
- Ensure appropriate day supply is held through teamwork and follow recall protocols.
- Comply with all laws regarding licensing applications and renewals.
- Implement quality assurance procedures and manage the security of controlled substances.
- Report any incidents of robbery, theft, or fraud.
- Support proper maintenance and repair of pharmacy equipment.
- Uphold safety programs by identifying and rectifying unsafe conditions.
- Promptly report all accidents involving customers or employees to management.
- Adjust your schedule to cover open shifts when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding departmental changes impacting job functions.
- Follow company policies and union contracts diligently.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and guidelines, including HIPAA and DEA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a strong team environment that aligns with company goals.

Qualifications :
Active pharmacist license in good standing.Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent planning and organizational abilities.High attention to detail and accuracy.Self-motivated with a commitment to achieving high standards / results.Desired Experience :
Management experience preferred.Previous pharmacy experience.Experience in a retail environment.
