Health Underwriter

A company is looking for a Health Underwriter for a 6-month remote contract assignment.

Key Responsibilities

Enter RFP data into underwriting rating modules for new and renewal groups

Review RFP submissions for data accuracy and appropriateness of terms

Analyze large claims and recommend adjustments for rate development

Required Qualifications

5+ years of underwriting experience in level funded and / or ASO / stop loss

Bachelor's degree

Advanced knowledge of underwriting principles and funding mechanisms

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
