Job Description

Join our team to assist in the design of water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure systems. You will support pipeline hydraulics and mechanical piping layout work, draft and review civil drawings using AutoCAD, and conduct site visits to assist with field investigations. Collaborate closely with senior engineers and leadership, taking initiative and contributing across both technical and non-technical areas.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience, including internships.
• Interest in water/wastewater systems and public infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.

Work Environment

The work environment is collaborative and dynamic, emphasizing hands-on experience and direct mentorship from senior civil engineers. You will be involved in both office-based design work and field investigations, providing balanced exposure to a variety of civil and environmental engineering projects. The dress code is business casual, and some flexibility in hours may be required to accommodate project demands.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
