Descripción del trabajoOperating advanced imaging equipment to detect and map radioactive drugs within patients, producing diagnostic images. Accurately positioning patients and selecting appropriate technical factors. Ordering, preparing, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals in line with established protocols. Following radiation safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Submitting high-quality images and documents to PACS, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintaining the functionality of imaging equipment and reporting any issues promptly. Contributing to a clean and organized department. Performing additional duties as assigned. Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program. No prior experience required, making this a great opportunity for recent graduates! Must obtain ARRT-N and CNMT credentials within 6 months of hire. Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Ability to perform patient lifts and use diagnostic equipment. Strong visual and auditory skills required for patient care and equipment operation. Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association. Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or ARRT-N certification.
