Junior Software Developer - Schriever SFB

Location : Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Clearance Required : Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Travel Required : Up to 10%

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our team in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), contributing to the development, sustainment, and modernization of mission-critical software systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform application development supporting total lifecycle management and operations utilizing the Kinetic platform

Plan, test, and implement major application upgrades

Perform local customizations and system enhancements to meet business needs

Work with a team of experienced software engineers to automate business processes and perform Operations and Maintenance (O&M) on existing applications

Execute daily system checks, application configurations, vendor updates, and respond to customer requests

Ensure security best practices and compliance with Information Assurance standards

Interface with team members to ensure cross-platform compatibility and standardization

De-conflict requests and requirements

What You Bring

Basic Requirements :

Must have 6 months of directly related experience

Must have knowledge of application technologies with a focus on web development, including React, Tomcat, HTML, JavaScript / JQuery, Ruby, Node.js, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL

Must have knowledge of the Kinetic Platform

Must have, or obtain, a current DoD 8570 Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE or higher

Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
