Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Pendleton, OR

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to fill a locum position at CHI St. Anthony, an MHAS program located approximately 200 miles east of Portland. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate obstetric care during 24-hour shifts, including clinic work on weekdays and on-call duties during evenings and weekends. This position is perfect for physicians seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a close-knit community setting. The assignment begins on December 1, 2025, with a flexible schedule of up to 20 shifts per month.

Required Skills:

• Valid and current medical license in Oregon or ability to obtain one promptly
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetrics experience
• Proven ability to perform and manage obstetric procedures and deliveries
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle emergent situations calmly and efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in rural or community hospital settings
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice experience, preferably in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work 24-hour shifts with on-call duties
• Willingness to travel to and from the assignment site if necessary
• Active state medical license and relevant board certifications
• Compliance with all health, safety, and licensure requirements applicable to the role
