Entertainment Family Seeking Full Time Family Assistant/Nanny older kids
Location: Pacific Palisades, office in Brentwood
Rate: $40 plus OT plus Full benefits
General Hours: 9-7 with some flex M-F
Busy mom/entrepreneur on the west side is seeking a true family assistant where many hats will be worn daily! Half of the day will be spent in an office environment assisting mom with basic office duties, buying gifts, calendaring and running errands while the second half of the day is spent driving, preparing meals and overseeing the bedtime routines of three children ages 8-12. Homework help, preparing for the next school day and organizing sport uniforms and supplies are all a part of this role. This role will report to and work with a Chief of Staff for the principal as well as a lead nanny. There is also a weekend nanny. This role is mostly during week other a few special occasions.
Ideally this person will also be able to travel as needed
Duties include but may not be limited to:
Daily administrative work inclusive of calendars and schedules for the entrepreneur mom
Work closely with Chief of Staff to ensure seamless daily functions for principals schedules as well as meeting vendors at the home for maintenance
VERY heavy on both errands and gift buying
Some dealing with pets — dogs and lizard, please be pet friendly
Assisting with daily needs for the principal –printing documents for meetings, getting lunch coffees and juices.
When a VIP comes into office make sure the office tidy and making sure tech works such as ZOOM links etc
Required:
Passport Ready
Able to use their own car to transport children and run errands
Able to travel up to 4 weeks at a time (specifically over the summer)
True experience as both an assistant and a childcare provider
Team Player
Hardworking, Organized, Team Player mentality
Fluency in Google calendar, gmail, slack, MAC and zoom
Clean background and DMV record
Flexible availability; some weekend and after hours availability needed
Firm, kind and able to hold boundaries for 3 pre-teens
