Job Description

Respiratory Care Practitioner – NICU

Day Shift | Full-Time

Location - Spokane, WA

Pay - $35 - $56 / hr + $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized respiratory care for high-risk neonates, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and advanced monitoring in a Level III / IV NICU setting.
  • Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurses, and the care team to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, patient assessments, and emergency airway support using contemporary respiratory therapy practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, follow unit and safety protocols, and contribute to a supportive, team-centered care environment.

Qualifications

  • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner license and current AHA BLS certification required at hire.
  • Completion of accredited respiratory therapy education with training that meets certification and licensure standards.
  • Experience in neonatal or pediatric acute care strongly preferred; comfort working with complex ventilatory and monitoring systems essential.
  • Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative NICU environment.
