As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for customers and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This unarmed position requires you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate : $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeFri03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMSat11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as suspicious individuals, property damage, or hazards within the retail setting.
  • Assist visitors, customers, and employees by providing directions and general information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Collaborate with store management and / or law enforcement when appropriate to address security-related concerns.
  • Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required for positions involving driving responsibilities.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
