As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an approachable presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help prevent unwanted activity, and delivering exceptional customer service through strong communication. This is an armed and driving post, so you will be equipped and authorized to carry a firearm while also operating a vehicle as part of your duties. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and / or unauthorized access.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any potential security-related concerns or unusual occurrences.

Monitor access points and verify identification of personnel and visitors as required by site-specific guidelines.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms, emergencies, and / or requests for assistance throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements

Must have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

A valid armed guard card or license is required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
