This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM, 5 x 8 hour shifts, mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. They perform all essential generic job functions, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Produce diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting proper technical factors based on individual patient needs.
  • Restrict radiation beams to provide non-exposure to unaffected parts of the patient.
  • Perform portable x-ray examinations in various patient locations.
  • Develop exposed x-ray film using available processing methods.
  • Maintain orderly x-ray room and assist with administrative duties related to scheduling and records maintenance.
  • Provide assistance to patients as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Identify and deliver patient care based on their specific needs, including effective communication.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Must possess a New Jersey State License in Radiologic Technology.
  • Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and clinical requirements.
  • Must be eligible for the National Registry and pass the examination.
